Will Levandowski set a new record for most vertical feet climbed in 24 hours on a boulder at Fagstaff in Boulder, Colorado on May 5, 2011. Levandowski climbed 2883 laps on a 10' 1.25" rock, a total of 29130.3 feet, several feet higher than Mount Everest (29,029 ft). The minimum requirement from Guinness World Records was 25,000.
